Tucked into the quiet valley of Turkey Creek and surrounded by the mountains of Western North Carolina, Montgomery Sky Farm is a 50-acre working farm founded in 2018 by Chef Taylor Montgomery and his wife, Fran. The farm is a living expression of intentional stewardship. What began as a shared vision has grown into a purpose-driven way of life.

Regenerative farming is at the heart of everything we do. More than a method, it is a commitment to restoring soil health, protecting biodiversity, and working in rhythm with the natural world.
We cultivate heirloom and rare plant varieties, some at risk of disappearing altogether, preserving seed genetics that strengthen ecosystems and ensure resilience for future generations. By rebuilding soil and honoring what the land offers, we believe farming can be both productive and deeply restorative.
What we grow
Free from pesticides, synthetic chemicals, GMOs, and hormones.
We grow seasonal vegetables, fruits, herbs, wildflowers, and free-range eggs using compost-driven, chemical-free practices shaped by the unique mountain climate of Western North Carolina. Our harvest reflects the purity of the land itself.
We proudly share our produce with local restaurants and community partners who value thoughtful sourcing and exceptional quality.

Field & Creek is our on-property market in Leicester, NC. Find farm-grown produce, herbs, florals, and eggs alongside farm-made goods, takeaway meals, and small-batch specialty items, including Chef Taylor's buttermilk pancake mix.
2026 hours: most Saturdays and Sundays, 10am to 2pm. Next month's market days are posted at the end of each month and on Instagram stories. Farm tours are not offered from the market and must be reserved in advance.
