Our mission

Second chances, for animals and for the land.

At Montgomery Sky Farm, we proudly host Final Run Rescue, our 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to give animals a second chance, while nurturing a deeper, more compassionate connection between people, animals and the land they share. Through rescue, rehabilitation, regenerative practices and community outreach, we work to heal what has been harmed, restoring lives, ecosystems and hope for a more sustainable future.

Meet the herd

Not a petting zoo. A family we respect.

Our animal family is not a petting zoo. They are rescued and rehabilitated with the utmost respect for their space. Scottish Highland cattle, Valais Blacknose sheep, Kune Kune pigs, dwarf horses, donkeys, goats, capybaras, chickens and our livestock guardian dogs all call the farm home.

Visits with the animals happen only through reserved farm tours, where you'll learn each animal's story and how we care for them.

Thank you for helping us give these animals a much deserved second chance

Final Run Rescue has been self-funded through the farm and the generous contributions of a few close patrons. Goals include a new barn and dry lot for intakes requiring quarantine, ten acres of fencing for rotational grazing, and a run-in shed for shelter from inclement weather.
