Montgomery Sky Farm is located in Leicester, North Carolina, nestled in the Turkey Creek valley just outside of Asheville in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We are 20-25 minutes from downtown Asheville.

Montgomery Sky Farm is a regenerative farm and nonprofit rehabilitation animal rescue. Due to the nature of being a working farm, visits are welcome and available by reservation only. All farm visitation bookings and dinner reservations can be made online.

We love dogs and appreciate how important they are to our guests. However, for the safety of our animals, guests, and working livestock guardian dogs, pets are not permitted on-site at Montgomery Sky Farm. We appreciate your understanding and help in protecting the wellbeing of all animals in our care.

We offer guided farm tours, creekside picnics, seed to plate dining at The Chef's Table, family-style private dinners, seasonal events, and private gatherings including weddings, celebrations, and corporate retreats.

All culinary experiences are led by James Beard Award winning Chef Taylor Montgomery and Chef de Cuisine Cat Beraud, with menus guided by the farm's seasonal harvest. Our rare and endangered vegetable varieties are harvested from the earth the very day, or day of dining experiences-focusing on ultimate freshness and highlighting nutrient density. 

Seed to plate dining reflects our commitment to growing food from the ground up. Many ingredients served are grown on the farm, from preserved seeds to harvest, offering guests a direct connection between land and plate. Think about the last time ingredients were picked the same day and transformed into beautiful creations on a plate. No chemicals, synthetic fertilizers or plastics, ever.

Yes. Dietary accommodations are available with advance notice, including but not limited to vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menus. Please include all dietary needs when booking your experience.

Farm events are intentionally limited to groups of up to 65 guests. If you are looking to accommodate more for a private event, please email us.

Yes. Our Farm Tour + Picnic Combo requires a minimum of two guests.

Field & Creek is our on-property market, where we sell produce we have grown along with farm merchandise. Market hours vary seasonally. In 2026 the market is open most Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm, with each month's days posted at the end of the prior month and on Instagram stories.

Yes. A curated selection of market items is available for purchase online, with limited quantities based on seasonal availability.

No. Farm tours are not offered from the market and need to be purchased and reserved in advance. Our animals live in sanctuary, which means we highly monitor their socialization and respect their space.

Private experiences and events can be requested through our inquiry form. Our team will follow up to create a customized experience.

Many experiences take place outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, we will communicate any necessary adjustments in advance.

Due to the nature of our working farm, we are unable to offer refunds. By booking, you agree to this policy. In the event of inclement weather we will happily provide a credit to be used for a future visit. No-shows forfeit their visit in its entirety.

Yes. Select experiences and events are family-friendly, including our Halloween and Christmas events on the farm.
